The Foundation of the Geneva World Security Forum (Foundation) will be established pursuant to Article 80 and onwards of the Swiss Civil Code and will be registered at the Register of Commerce.

In pursuit of its objectives, the Foundation may purchase, build or rent the requisite premises and materials, and appoint and train personnel to enable it to carry out its objectives.

The capital of the Foundation shall be undetermined and starting capital will be in excess of 50,000.00 CHF.

The founders shall award the foundation its starting capital and undertake fundraising to raise the rest of the needed capital to establish the Foundation.

The governing body of the Foundation shall be the Foundation Board and include the option to set-up Board-level committee’s to further examine strategic, management, administrative, programmatic and thematic issues. The Board will be advised by a Panel of Advisors. Its founding members will have a lifetime relationship with the Foundation and have membership as Founding Fellows of the Geneva World Security Forum.

The secretariat will serve to administer the Foundation and its annual conference.
